Kids Classes Information
Our children Martial Arts classes are focused on character development, physical fitness and self defense, rather than fighting.
Our primary goal of our Martial Arts for kids classes is to build a child’s self confidence (become a “karate kid”). Our Martial Arts training emphasizes encouragement and positive correction and we work hard to ensure all students are treated with dignity and shown respect. Benefits include:
- Increased self-esteem
- Competency in self defense
- Better concentration
- Greater self discipline
- Improved physical health
- Enhanced leadership skills
Homeschool Taekwondo Class??
Livingston Taekwondo Academy offers a special class geared to homeschooling families. Homeschool students who are 6 years and up, their parents and siblings, and parent/child combos (for kids under 6) are welcome to attend. Students of all belt levels are assisted in gaining strength, balance, flexibility, agility, speed, and confidence. Classes meet twice a week, covering technique, forms, sparring, and self-defense. Homeschool students are also encouraged to attend other LTA classes — which their tuition covers in full — to experience the styles and knowledge of numerous teachers. For more information, contact the homeschool instructor at email@example.com or 404-295-4136.
As a parent you know the importance of spending time with your child.
Our family Martial Arts classes are focused on allowing parents and their kids to work together on character development, physical fitness and developing self-defense skills.
Benefits for kids include increased self-esteem, better concentration, greater self discipline, improved physical health, and enhanced leadership skills.
Benefits for parents include improved muscle tone, increased cardiovascular stamina, boundless energy, greater flexibility, reduced stress levels and, if you’re above your natural weight, weight loss.
In addition, you and your child will both learn self-defense tactics and techniques of critical value in the event of either of you being subjected to violence.
But, the greatest benefit of practicing Martial Arts with your child is the improved self confidence both of you will develop to tackle life’s challenges.
By mastering Martial Arts both of you will discover you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.
