We provide quality martial arts instruction at all our classes. Our instructors are among most experienced, professional and high ranking martial artists in the Rocky Mountain region.
Dan Williams – (Owner, teaches at both locations) 7th Dan WTF Black Belt. Began Taekwondo training in Bozeman at Bozeman Taekwondo Academy in 1981. Opened the Livingston Martial Arts in 1987 and started Yellowstone Taekwondo in Columbus in 2016. A long time Master of Taekwondo and 14 time USA National medalist and a Pan Am Championships medalist.
Sean Farrell – (Livingston) 4rd Dan WTF Black Belt. Began training in 2003 in Maple Valley, WA. Received Black Belt in 2007 at Livingston Martial Arts and is a USA Taekwondo National Level A1 Referee.
Sheila Elwin – (Livingston) 3rd Dan WTF Black Belt. Began training in Atlanta, Georgia in 2004 where she progressed to 1st Dan black belt in 2008 and then to 2nd Dan in 2011. She taught kids classes there and also began a home-schoolers program. After moving to Livingston last year she has shown to be an excellent instructor for our kids classes and has taken on the home-schoolers program here as well.
Micah Jasionowski – (Livingston Assistant Instructor) 3nd Dan began studying taekwondo in 2008 at the age of 4, and achieved his first black belt by age 8, in Atlanta, Georgia. He tested for and was awarded his second degree black belt at age 10. A member of the Homeschool Taekwondo Class, he also assists as needed, both there and with the Little Dragons.
Danny Kraus – (Bozeman) 3rd Dan Black Belt. Began training at the Livingston Martial Arts in 1997 and received Black Belt there in 2001. He is also a current MSU student and a Bozeman radio DJ.
Kent Chittenden – (Big Timber) 2st Dan Black Belt. Began training in Iowa and transferred to the Livingston Martial Arts in 2002 as a blue belt and received Black Belt there in 2006. He is a Big Timber business owner.
